What Is The Deal With Country Gospel?

Ok, folks. Seriously. Why, why, why, why, WHY are Christians into country gospel music?
And, more importantly, if Carl is into it, WHY WOULD ANYONE ELSE WANT TO BE?
I recall ol' Pahsta Cahl talking about how country gospel was the only godly music, or something to that effect. I CAN'T TAKE THE TWANGING!!!
