GRACE HOUR NOW THIRD LONGEST RUNNING MEDIA OF ALL TIME

In the wake of Dom Imus's firing by CBS, Grace Hour is pleased to announce that Pastor Carl H. Stevens is now the third longest running media mogul, following close on the heels of Larry King and Paul Harvey. "I-wus a won-der-fowl, mah-vlas thang ta see!" shouted Stevens from the back room where this wife Barbarah keeps him these days between sessions at the radio station. Of late he hasn't been able to actually come into the studio, leaving standard hosting duties to Pahstah Love and a series of Pee-Ons and Yes-Men. But Stevens is still the force behind the radio show, which began 134 years ago as "Telephone Time." Carl explains the original name by saying, "Weel, back then the teller-fown wuz just an amazin, special blesh-un from da Lourd! Peepl'd cawl us up, an we'd tawlk about whutevah wuz on deir minds-n-heahtz! THANK YEW!" When asked what he thought of Imus's misfortunes, Carl stated, "Da Lourd gives an da Lourd tekes away, but lemme tell ya - an ah wont yer undivided 'tension cauz what AH gut iz from da Lord here - I-muz tryied to take mah hair stiles back in da day. He tried ta touch da Lourd's announnted!" With this, the 156 year old Head Pastor/Emperor For Life became incoherent, and had to be restrained by his wife. "Git yer nappy ho hos offa me woman! Yew don't have yer make-up own!!!"
